Ministry: Russia threshes 9.5 mln tns of grain as of Monday

MOSCOW, Jul 3 (PRIME) -- Russian farmers threshed 9.454 million tonnes of grain in bunker weight from 2.474 million hectares as of Monday compared with 1.174 million tonnes from 265,700 hectares as of the same date last year, the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement.

The crop yield fell 13.6% on the year as of Monday to 38.2 metric centners per hectare.

The Agriculture Ministry expects Russian grain harvest to amount to about 100 million tonnes in 2018.
